I had a dream about True Mother (Hak Ja Han) on Thursday, August 7, 2026. Coincidentally, it was An Shi Il.
This month, one of my focuses has been creating an An Shi Il tradition that we can genuinely be proud of—something that fits our family well and helps bring God's presence closer to our home. Rather than trying to immediately find the "perfect" tradition, I want to use this month to experiment, learn through trial and error, and discover something we can continue as a family.
My other focus this month has been trying to tell one person each day about the OBD. I have been failing miserably at that goal. I have told only three people in three weeks—not twenty-one people.
Three people is something. It is a small victory, and I am grateful for it, but I also feel that it is inadequate compared with the commitment I made.
I don't know whether this dream is building on that small foundation of victory or whether it is a push from Heaven toward the place where I am deeply lacking.
THE DREAM
A bunch of people were staying together in a house. One or two people had come by to visit us. I had the feeling that the people staying in the house were Unification Church members, specifically second generation, while the visitors were not.
I walked the visitors out toward the garage. Just as they were about to leave, True Mother (Hak Ja Han) came into the garage. I think she came in from outside.
She was casually chatting with people as she walked from the front of the garage toward the back, and then over to where I was sitting on the couch with a few other people.
Then, unexpectedly, she jumped onto our laps and started laughing. She eventually sat down next to us.
I was surprised by how naturally she spoke English. I remember thinking, Wow, she speaks such good English.
Then I suddenly realized:
"Oh my gosh! None of us told the guests who were leaving about True Mother (Hak Ja Han)!"
I ran after one of the guests—a young woman around our age—and said to her:
"There is someone you have to meet! She's the Only Begotten Daughter. She's a completely unique kind of person. We can never meet this kind of person again, and no one in history has ever met this kind of person before!"
She became extremely angry with me.
I had the strong feeling that my explanation of Mother as someone she had never met—and could never meet again—actually frightened her. There was an intensity to her fear and anger.
Then she turned toward me and pushed out this enormous wave of energy.
The energy knocked me backward onto the couch with Mother. Everyone around us was pushed back as well.
The young woman then stormed off.
Afterward, Mother got off the couch and sat down on the floor with us. She began talking with us.
I remember thinking:
"Wow. She's so easy to understand. I feel like she's as good at English as my mom."
And then I thought:
"Of course she is! She's my mom!"
