This book helped me work through my anger toward Rev. Moon after learning about actions he took that caused real pain to many individuals. As I read Franchezzo's journey through the spiritual realms, I found myself imagining Rev. Moon on a similar path — moving through the spirit world to redeem himself. Throughout the story, Franchezzo's one true love, her prayers and her faithfulness to him despite everything he regretted, is ultimately what saves him. It brought to mind Holy Mother Han's three years of prayer for her husband after his passing — asking God to forgive him for not fulfilling his responsibility on earth. This book helped me see that in God's love, there is always a way for redemption. I would read it again and again if only I had the time!

This was the very first book I ever read about the spirit world. I was 15 years old, and had arrived early for a music lesson, so I decided to pop into a nearby library. The moment I saw this book, I picked it up and read half of it — I almost missed my lesson because I couldn't put it down. After that, I continued seeking out more and more books about spiritually related things: anything that revealed the spirit world. It's an easy read even for middle schoolers, and one I would encourage parents to share with their children to spark their interest in the spirit world.
